Iran’s TIC, Omantel, and Pishgaman have partnered to create a data transit corridor between Iran and Oman. This collaboration aims to increase data capacity to 4.5 Gbps, enhance international connectivity, and position Iran as a regional data hub, reducing data transfer costs and time between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
TIC, Pishgaman, and Omantel have signed a memorandum of agreement to enhance data transit between Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. This partnership will increase data transfer capacity to Oman to 4.5 Tbps, optimizing infrastructure, reducing costs, and strengthening Iran’s connectivity and security via northern and southern routes.
