Banglalink, a leading telecom operator in Bangladesh, has announced a significant 15.1 percent year-on-year revenue growth in the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, reaching Tk1,588 crore. This marks the company’s sixth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, highlighting its commitment to delivering innovative digital services.
Strengthening Connectivity
The company’s dedication to high-speed connectivity has been recognized with its seventh consecutive Ookla Speedtest Award. Banglalink’s data revenue saw a 28 percent growth YoY, supported by an expansive infrastructure with over 15,000 towers. The growth in 4G subscribers by 31 percent YoY to around 20 million underlines Banglalink’s focus on providing seamless digital experiences.
Expanding Digital Portfolio
Banglalink’s digital offerings include Toffee, Bangladesh’s largest mobile entertainment platform, and MyBL, the country’s first super app. Toffee experienced a 72.2 percent YoY growth in users, while MyBL, embodying a “6C philosophy,” registered a 48 percent YoY growth.
