Zain Esports, the gaming arm of Zain Group, a leading provider of innovative technologies and digital lifestyle communications across the Middle East and Africa, has partnered with Riot Games MEA, one of the largest gaming publishers in the world. This collaboration will integrate Riot Games MEA content and licensed tournaments into the Zain Esports calendar.
The partnership was inaugurated with the launch party for the Middle East server of League of Legends, one of Riot’s most popular games. This event was held at 15 venues across eight countries in the region, with Zain Esports participating in five: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iraq. Over two days, more than 2,000 players participated, and the event reached over 2 million gaming and esports enthusiasts through the social media channels of Zain Esports, League of Legends Arabia, and over 20 influencers who took part in the events.
This initiative is part of Zain Esports’ ongoing efforts to connect gamers in the region to exclusive, region-wide events.
