Sony has introduced the MENA Hero Project, an incubator program aimed at identifying and supporting local game developers in the Middle East and North Africa. The initiative will provide mentorship, training, and project-based investment to developers in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia.
In a blog post, Sony emphasized its commitment to making PlayStation the best gaming platform by developing regional incubator programs that discover new and diverse talents globally. The MENA Hero Project reflects this commitment and Sony’s belief in the potential of the MENA gaming market.
Through this program, Sony aims to lower the barrier to entry for developers in the region, offering them the resources and support needed to showcase their talents. The company has opened submissions for the program, inviting developers to take part in this new initiative.
