Saudi Arabia’s Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company has announced the acquisition of a new contract valued at SAR8.62 million ($2.3 million) for cloud services with NEOM, the developers behind the country’s ambitious futuristic city project.
This contract includes the provision of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), as detailed in Edarat’s filing to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul. The new purchase order extends an existing framework agreement initially announced in May, which focuses on delivering comprehensive cloud services to NEOM.
The project is set to be completed within a 12-month timeframe. Edarat anticipates that this contract will positively affect the company’s financial statements in the fourth quarter of 2024.
