Amman, Jordan – Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication, Mohammad Momani, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the media sector and collaborating with media outlets to address challenges and promote growth.

In a meeting with editors-in-chief and general managers of leading newspapers, Momani outlined plans for dialogue sessions and working groups to evaluate the media landscape and develop practical solutions for a more sustainable industry.

“This initiative aligns with the broader modernisation efforts underway in Jordan’s political, economic, and administrative sectors,” reported the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The minister emphasized the importance of cooperation and participation from all media stakeholders in implementing recommendations to strengthen the media sector. He also highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to update press regulations, encouraging high-quality journalism and digital transformation.
