Rabat – On Thursday, BTechnologie officially opened its Center of Excellence in Rabat, marking a significant step forward in technological innovation and collaboration. The inauguration ceremony brought together industry leaders, officials, and media representatives to celebrate the launch of a new hub that aims to position Morocco as a regional leader in tech innovation.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome for the guests, followed by speeches from key figures, including Vincent Besson and Christophe Faure, who discussed the vision behind the new center. Sebastien Begoc, representing the French Ambassador to Morocco, Christophe Lecourtier, highlighted the strategic partnership between global consulting giant Accenture and Bouygues Telecom, a leading telecommunications provider in France.
The attendees also toured the state-of-the-art facilities designed to encourage collaboration and innovation, followed by a networking cocktail reception.
A Vision for Innovation
BTechnologie’s mission is to unite expertise in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, data science, software development, and network deployment.
Vincent Besson, Managing Director at Accenture, stated, “This partnership is fully aligned with our growth and innovation strategy. By combining our strengths, we offer an expanded range of services and solutions.” Speaking to Morocco World News (MWN), Besson emphasized the importance of the partnership, noting that BTechnologie is a collaboration between Bouygues Telecom, a leader in France’s telecom sector, and Accenture, a global leader in consulting. He emphasized that the goal of the center is to establish a delivery hub based on quality and excellence.
Besson also praised Morocco’s critical role in this initiative, stating, “We are leveraging the exceptional quality of Moroccan engineers to deliver cutting-edge activities in 5G, fiber-to-the-home technology, AI, and cloud computing.”
The center, which already employs 500 professionals, is set to double its workforce to 1,000 in the coming years, positioning it as a key driver of technological innovation in Morocco.
Why Morocco?
Bouygues Telecom’s decision to establish the center in Rabat was a strategic one. Benoit Torloting, CEO of Bouygues Telecom, explained to MWN, “Today, we have over 500 professionals, and this number is set to grow to around 1,000 in the coming years. Morocco offers the expertise and infrastructure to support our vision.” He noted that Rabat stood out due to its exceptional academic talent and robust infrastructure, making it an ideal location for a world-class technical center.
Torloting also emphasized the potential of the center to strengthen Bouygues Telecom’s operations in France, while contributing to Morocco’s local economy. “I am delighted because everything is working very well. We found all the innovation, competencies, and technical skills we need here to bring to telecom operations in France,” he said.

Jihane Ouhejjou, Director of the Center of Excellence, expressed excitement about the project and its potential impact on Morocco’s growth. She stated, “We are celebrating a delivery center of excellence and innovation today. This partnership brings together over 500 professionals working in diverse technological fields such as 5G, AI, and telecommunications.”
Ouhejjou emphasized the center’s role in advancing Morocco’s technological landscape, stating, “We are excited to participate in our country’s growth and to build a brighter future together.”
She also noted that BTechnologie represents more than just a partnership—it is a statement about the transformative power of collaboration and innovation. By combining Accenture’s global expertise with Bouygues Telecom’s commitment to technological advancement, the center is poised to position Morocco as a leading technological hub in Africa and beyond.
