Ncell Foundation Partners with ICT Award 2024 to Support Nepal’s Tech and Innovation Sector

Ncell Foundation has partnered with the ICT Award 2024 as a “Supported By” partner. This prestigious award aims to celebrate Nepal’s advancements in technology, innovation, and startups, while also recognizing the contributions of women in the ICT industry.

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Nepal’s ICT growth, Ncell also seeks to empower women in the sector. The company has partnered with Living with ICT, the organizer of the ICT Awards, to help bridge the digital divide in the country.

The grand finale of the 9th edition of the ICT Award 2024, supported by Ncell Foundation, will take place on December 20 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. The event will honor individuals, startups, and organizations in 14 different categories.

Ncell’s participation in the event is not a new one. For the past four years, the company has been presenting the Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award, which honors women who have made significant contributions to the ICT industry. This year’s recipient will receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000. Last year, Sunaina Ghimire Pandey received the Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award.

Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We have been working in this sector for a long time to bridge the digital divide. We are delighted to collaborate with the ICT Award, which honors outstanding organizations, startups, and individuals contributing to digital transformation.”
