Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), a Public Investment Fund (PIF) entity, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Global Water Organisation to provide cutting-edge digital and cybersecurity solutions. This collaboration will contribute to the development of the organization’s technological and cybersecurity infrastructure.
SITE was introduced by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at its headquarters in Riyadh.
Dr. Saad Alboodi, CEO of SITE, highlighted the significance of delivering secure digital and cybersecurity solutions that align with the Global Water Organisation’s ambitious vision and strategy. He emphasized that the partnership marks a crucial step toward advancing global water resource management and supporting international efforts to tackle challenges in the water sector, with a focus on sustainability.
The collaboration will also strengthen and expand initiatives aimed at promoting water sustainability worldwide by facilitating cooperation among governments and organizations.
Dr. Fahad Abu Mati, Head of the Global Water Organisation’s Founding Team, commented that the MOC represents a vital continuation of the organization’s infrastructure development efforts. He noted that SITE’s advanced digital and cybersecurity expertise will be essential in helping the new organization meet the needs of global stakeholders while promoting sustainable water management practices.
