e& has launched “Nukhbat Al Wattan,” a program designed to offer Emirati males valuable work experience during the interim period before they are called up for mandatory national service. The initiative targets Emirati males who have recently graduated from high school, providing them with an opportunity to focus on personal growth and skill development while awaiting their military service call-up.
This six-month program aims to empower UAE Nationals by offering a unique platform for skill-building, work experience, and enriching opportunities, preparing participants for future academic and professional endeavors. In addition, participants will receive monthly remuneration, equal to the allowance provided during national service.
In the UAE, military service is compulsory for male nationals between the ages of 18 and 30, while it remains optional for women.
