Viettel High Tech (VHT) has secured a contract worth over USD 1 million with High Cloud Technologies (HCT) from the UAE to supply 5G systems for the Middle Eastern market. This landmark deal represents a strategic partnership between VHT and HCT, a leading company pioneering commercial 5G networks in the region. HCT is a trusted partner of top telecom operators like MTN, MCI, Du, STC, and Etisalat.
Under the agreement, VHT will provide 4G and 5G base stations using Non-Standalone (NSA) technology, along with cloud-based core network infrastructure. This collaboration highlights VHT’s expertise in end-to-end technologies, from core networks to access networks.
HCT will implement telecom solutions and equipment developed by VHT to fulfill commercial contracts and conduct 5G trials with major telecom operators in the Middle East. The goal is to demonstrate the reliability and effectiveness of VHT’s products.
Viettel High Tech’s products are known for their quality and cost-efficiency, making them an attractive choice for expanding telecom coverage in the UAE and other parts of the Middle East, particularly in suburban and rural areas. This partnership will contribute to improving education and living standards across these regions.
The collaboration not only strengthens HCT’s leadership position but also opens up future opportunities for partnerships with other telecom operators in the Middle East. Viettel High Tech has been developing 4G technologies since 2017 and began 5G research in 2019. With the UAE deal, VHT is now ready to commercialize 5G technology, marking its first major telecommunications project in the Middle East.
