The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has signed a partnership agreement with tech giant Amazon to strengthen collaboration in the cultural and technological sectors. This cooperation aims to enrich the visitor experience at Diriyah’s historical sites and expand cultural and historical content through Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant technology.
The agreement was signed by DGDA Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo and Abdo Chlala, Amazon Saudi Arabia Country Manager.
Inzerillo commented, “This marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration to position Diriyah as a global cultural and heritage destination. By integrating modern technologies, we aim to connect the past to the future and showcase the rich heritage and authentic culture of Saudi Arabia.”
Eric King, Amazon’s managing director of Alexa International for EMEA & APAC, added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to highlight Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
