Viettel High Tech (VHT) and High Cloud Technologies (HCT) have entered into a strategic partnership valued at $1 million to supply 5G systems to the Middle Eastern market. This collaboration strengthens HCT’s position as a leading telecom solutions provider in the region and paves the way for future partnerships with other telecom operators.
As part of the agreement, VHT will provide 4G and 5G base stations using Non-Standalone (NSA) technology, alongside cloud-based core network infrastructure, showcasing its end-to-end telecom solutions expertise. The focus will be on implementing these solutions, conducting 5G trials, and demonstrating the performance and reliability of VHT’s products with key telecom operators.
This partnership aims to enhance telecom coverage, particularly in suburban and rural areas, thereby improving education and living standards across the UAE and the wider Middle East. The collaboration is also expected to support regional growth in key sectors like education, healthcare, and business, all of which rely on robust digital infrastructure.
VHT’s expansion into the Middle East is a significant milestone in its technological development, as the company has been developing 4G technologies since 2017 and began its 5G research in 2019.
