Katalyst Labs recently hosted the two-day +92Disrupt conference, uniting over 850 tech startup founders, IT and financial experts, and potential investors. The event aimed to explore how Pakistan’s youth can leverage cutting-edge technology to drive economic transformation, with a special focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and fintech.
The conference showcased Pakistan’s vast potential in IT and technology, highlighting the opportunities for investment in these sectors. Prominent speakers, including Zaid Inam, Maheen Rahman, Asad Malik, and Atif Awan, emphasized the importance of technology as the backbone of the economy. They stressed the need for a supportive environment to attract investment to Pakistan’s key sectors.
Katalyst Labs CEO and founder Jehan Ara addressed the audience, stating that technology could play a pivotal role in solving public issues. She called on relevant stakeholders to extend support to tech companies and startups in Pakistan. The conference provided an invaluable opportunity for tech startup operators to network, share ideas, and learn from one another’s experiences.

An AI Challenge Competition was held during the conference, and the winning team, consisting of female students from NED University of Engineering and Technology, was recognized for their top tech innovation, further highlighting the growing talent in Pakistan’s tech sector.
