Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Hosts Delegations from e& UAE and the Ministry of Justice to Discuss Collaboration and Future Developments

Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Communications Technology Authority, recently met with Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, and his delegation. Sheikh Sultan welcomed the delegation and praised e& for its innovative technological solutions, which serve various sectors of society.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between government entities, private sectors, and leading telecommunications companies to develop digital infrastructure and enhance Sharjah’s capabilities in this vital area. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Sharjah Communications Technology Authority and e&, focusing on enhancing telecommunications infrastructure across the emirate.

The discussions aimed at supporting telecommunications companies in providing advanced services that align with the latest technologies, while promoting Sharjah’s efforts in digital sustainability, artificial intelligence, and community welfare. The delegation informed Sheikh Sultan about e&’s key services, including its latest infrastructure projects, AI-driven solutions, and innovations in communication and the internet.

In recent news, e& UAE launched its Neo Home plans, offering UAE households faster entry-level speeds of 1Gbps at competitive prices starting from Dhs399 per month. These plans are designed to meet the demands of modern households, providing seamless streaming, fast downloads, gaming, and TV entertainment. Additionally, e& UAE is leading globally in Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) penetration with 99.3% coverage, further solidifying the UAE’s position as a digital leader.

Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed also met with Abdullah Bin Sultan Bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, and his delegation. The meeting focused on enhancing judicial and legal services in the country. Sheikh Sultan commended the Ministry of Justice’s efforts to streamline legal processes and foster collaboration among judicial institutions.

The discussion also touched on the Ministry’s strategy for developing laws and legislation in line with legal updates. Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of public engagement with the judiciary and the role of the Ministry in safeguarding rights and enhancing stability within society. Both parties expressed a commitment to strengthening collaboration for the advancement of the judicial sector.
