Communications, Space, and Technology Commission Ensures Quality Service for Pilgrims During Ramadan

The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission’s teams have begun field operations at the Two Holy Mosques to ensure uninterrupted telecommunications services during Ramadan. Their efforts focus on enhancing the digital journey of visitors by monitoring network performance, inspecting sales outlets, and deploying mobile frequency spectrum monitoring stations.

Before the start of Ramadan, the commission’s teams also established a presence at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. Their tasks include assessing telecommunications coverage quality and ensuring reliable wireless communication, which is crucial for pilgrims’ digital needs.

The commission is also actively analyzing radio signals at the Two Holy Mosques, monitoring for any unauthorized usage or interference that could affect service quality. Through these comprehensive efforts, the commission aims to maintain high standards of service and contribute to enhancing the Kingdom’s reputation in supporting pilgrims during this sacred time.
