Kuwait Times Supports CODED’s Academy X Program to Empower Young Women in Tech

Kuwait Times, in partnership with Kuwait News, is proudly sponsoring the second edition of CODED’s Academy X program, aimed at empowering young women with essential skills in artificial intelligence, smart application development, and entrepreneurship. The program is expanding its capacity from 300 to 500 students this year.

At the launch event, Hawrah Al-Yakoob, Marketing Manager at Kuwait Times, emphasized the significance of investing in the future, noting that Academy X aligns with their vision for progress. She expressed the media organization’s dedication to partnering with businesses and initiatives that focus on shaping a brighter future for Kuwait and the region.

Hashim Behbehani, Co-Founder and COO of CODED, highlighted that Academy X provides hands-on experience, equipping participants with practical knowledge to launch and lead their own tech startups. Kuwait Times reaffirmed its support for the program, which prepares women to take leadership roles in Kuwait’s growing digital landscape.

The initiative also received support from major industry players, including Zain Kuwait, which is sponsoring the program for the second consecutive year. Sara Al-Rabab, Senior Data Analyst at Zain, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering youth, particularly women, by equipping them with the tools to succeed in the tech sector.

Other partners include Add Effect, Agility, Talabat, Kuwait University, Burgan Bank, and KNET, all contributing to the success and growth of this impactful program.
