Kratos Gaming Network Expands into MENA with New Headquarters in Bahrain

Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN), formerly known as IndiGG, has announced its expansion into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by opening a new regional headquarters in Bahrain. This move positions KGeN to tap into the rapidly growing gaming and Web3 sectors within the region.

The Bahrain-based headquarters will focus on uniting the gaming industry by acting as a bridge between gaming communities and publishers. The local team, led by Faiz Al Wari, will introduce KGeN’s Web3-based universal gamer reputation framework and the Proof of Gamer user identity system, which will help gamers build and showcase their gaming history.

Manish Agarwal, KGeN’s co-founder, explained on LinkedIn that the company chose Bahrain due to the local authorities’ approach of treating KGeN as a partner rather than simply a vendor or service provider. He also highlighted the presence of a hardworking English-speaking population and the lower operational costs compared to cities like Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.

KGeN plans to form both local and global partnerships, particularly focusing on the ICT sector in Bahrain, with an emphasis on AI and Web3 technologies.

Ali Al Mudaifa, Chief of Business Development at the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), praised KGeN’s decision, saying, “Their choice to establish a regional headquarters in Bahrain reflects our nation’s dynamic and evolving tech ecosystem.” He added that this move strengthens Bahrain’s commitment to the growth of the MENA gaming industry, which is expected to reach a market value of USD 2.8 billion by 2026.

Additionally, the Dubai GameExpo Summit, powered by Pocket Gamer Connects, will return on May 7-8, 2025, offering valuable insights into the MENA region’s rapidly expanding gaming market.
