The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) is participating in the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector, held from April 23-25 at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir. Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the event focuses on “Towards Sustainable Housing Solutions” and serves as a strategic platform to highlight innovations in housing.
iGA is showcasing several digital solutions developed in collaboration with both government and private sector entities. These solutions aim to streamline real estate services for citizens, enhance the housing experience, and contribute to digital transformation in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
A highlight of iGA’s presentation is the eKey 2.0 mobile app, which allows secure access to government services via biometric facial authentication, eliminating the need for passwords. Integrated with the “Bayti” platform, the app facilitates housing finance and ownership services in partnership with Eskan Bank, improving the efficiency of digital services in the housing sector.
Additionally, the iGA is presenting the “MyGov” app, providing access to a wide range of government services, and highlighting services available through the national portal, bahrain.bh. The public is invited to visit iGA’s pavilion at Hall 8 during the summit to explore these digital solutions.
