Morocco has launched a new phase of its JobInTech digital skills program in the southern city of Dakhla, reinforcing efforts to equip youth with advanced capabilities in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, programming, and data analysis. The expansion supports the country’s Morocco Digital 2030 strategy and coincides with celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Green March.
The inauguration at EST Dakhla gathered senior government officials, academic representatives, and private-sector partners. Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform Amal El Falah Seghrouchni said the initiative is key to strengthening Morocco’s digital sovereignty and ensuring equal access to technology education—particularly in rapidly developing regions like Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.
A partnership between the Maroc Numeric Cluster Foundation and EST Dakhla will support more than 100 trainees in gaining in-demand digital competencies aligned with employer needs across Morocco. Leaders from CDG Group and Maroc Numeric Cluster stressed their commitment to expanding JobInTech nationwide to strengthen youth employability and stimulate regional innovation ecosystems.
The program is viewed as a successful model for translating national digital strategies into local implementation by directly linking academia with industry demand.
