Horizon Egypt for Urban Development has signed a strategic partnership with global technology provider Hikvision to integrate advanced smart city solutions across its real estate projects in Egypt. The agreement will see Hikvision deploy a comprehensive suite of intelligent technologies at Horizon’s developments, including Saada New Cairo, Saada North Coast, and Saada Boutique.
Under the partnership, Hikvision will provide AI-enabled video security systems, vehicle recognition solutions, centralized command and management platforms, smart access and intercom systems, digital signage, and smart pole infrastructure. These technologies will be integrated into a unified command and control center, enabling Horizon to manage communities, facilities, and services through a single smart platform.
Horizon said the initiative supports its strategy to develop modern, sustainable, and fully integrated urban communities that align with future city management trends. By embedding intelligent infrastructure into its developments, the company aims to improve operational efficiency, enhance sustainability, and elevate residents’ quality of life.
The collaboration reflects growing demand within Egypt’s real estate sector for technology-driven urban environments that leverage artificial intelligence and smart systems to deliver safer, more connected, and more efficient living spaces.
