UNESCO, in partnership with Jordan’s Ministry of Education, convened a Digital Transformation Collaborative Analysis Workshop in Amman to support inclusive and system-wide digital education reform aligned with national priorities.
The workshop brought together representatives from government institutions, development partners and education technology stakeholders to examine how digital technologies can strengthen education planning, governance and service delivery. Discussions focused on aligning digital initiatives with national education goals while ensuring equity, inclusion and improved learning outcomes.
Organised under UNESCO’s Digital Transformation Collaborative, part of the Global Education Coalition, the initiative applies a system-wide analytical framework designed to help countries align digital investments with education strategies and accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education. Participants explored challenges and opportunities across key areas including leadership, connectivity, capacity, content and data-driven decision-making.
The workshop forms part of UNESCO’s broader efforts to support Jordan in building resilient and future-ready education systems through collaborative policy development and knowledge sharing.
