Bapco Energies partners with SLB and Geminus AI on physics-native AI for energy infrastructure

Bapco Energies has partnered with SLB and Geminus AI to deploy physics-native artificial intelligence solutions aimed at optimising Bahrain’s energy infrastructure.

The collaboration will focus on using AI models grounded in physical systems to improve asset performance, enhance operational efficiency, and enable predictive maintenance across energy operations. By combining real-world physics with machine learning, the approach allows for more accurate simulations and decision-making in complex industrial environments.

SLB brings its expertise in energy technology and digital solutions, while Geminus AI contributes advanced modelling capabilities designed to create digital twins of physical assets. These digital replicas enable operators to monitor performance, anticipate failures, and optimise processes in real time.

The initiative aligns with broader industry efforts to integrate advanced AI into energy systems, where efficiency, reliability, and cost optimisation are critical. For Bahrain, the deployment supports ongoing efforts to modernise its energy sector and adopt next-generation technologies.

As energy companies increasingly adopt AI-driven solutions, partnerships that combine domain expertise with advanced modelling are becoming essential to unlocking value from digital transformation.
