Capestone Acquires Next Era to Expand IoT and 5G Offerings in EMEA Market

Capestone, a division of OptConnect, has announced the acquisition of Next Era, a France-based distributor specializing in 4G/5G mobile networks and critical communications across the EMEA region. This acquisition marks a significant step in Capestone’s growth strategy, adding over 250 channel partners and customers across France, Southern Europe, DACH, and the Middle East.

Through this acquisition, Capestone not only expands its sales channel but also strengthens its portfolio by integrating Next Era’s expertise in emerging sectors such as 5G Private Networks, 5G Push To Talk, 5G Critical Communications, and communication solutions for airports. These new verticals will allow Capestone to tap into the rapidly growing IoT and 5G marketplace.
