PTCL Partners with IBM and GBM Pakistan to Modernize IT Infrastructure

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), the country’s leading ICT services provider, has joined forces with GBM Pakistan and IBM to modernize its IT infrastructure. As part of the initiative, IBM Power10 servers will be deployed across PTCL’s production, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. These state-of-the-art servers, known for their immense processing power and robust security features, are designed to improve PTCL’s performance, allowing the company to effectively manage rising data demands. Additionally, PTCL is incorporating IBM Spectrum Scale to optimize its data management processes and ensure scalability, creating a future-ready infrastructure to support its growth and innovation objectives.
