Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has entered into a cooperation agreement with Batelco, a subsidiary of Beyon, to offer exclusive services and benefits to housing beneficiaries in 2025. The agreement marks a step forward in strengthening the ministry’s collaboration with the private sector to support citizens benefiting from housing schemes, financing options, and the Government Lands Right Development Programme.
The agreement was signed by Fatima Ibrahim Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and Abdullah Danesh, General Manager of Enterprise at Batelco. Al Mannai emphasized Batelco’s important role in supporting housing projects, noting that the agreement aims to cater to the diverse needs of housing beneficiaries.
Under this partnership, Batelco will offer special rates for mobile services, broadband, and devices, along with a dedicated contact point for support and services related to housing projects. Al Mannai reiterated the ministry’s focus on building private-sector partnerships to improve services and create shared opportunities.
Danesh highlighted Batelco’s commitment to enhancing housing projects by providing advanced connectivity services. He expressed pride in the partnership with the ministry, stressing Batelco’s dedication to serving housing beneficiaries through a variety of efficient services and building on successful previous collaborations in housing development.
