Zain KSA Secures Digital Authentication License to Drive Digital Transformation in Saudi Arabia

Zain KSA has announced that it has received a license from the Digital Government Authority (DGA) to independently offer comprehensive digital authentication services across the Kingdom. This milestone strengthens the company’s ongoing efforts to deliver innovative digital solutions to the business sector and contributes to Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

In alignment with the Digital Government strategy, this achievement underscores Zain KSA’s commitment to improving customer experience by facilitating seamless electronic transactions, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing data security. With the new license, Zain KSA can now provide complete digital authentication services to both government and private enterprise clients, ensuring secure, legitimate digital transaction processes. The services will integrate with key government systems to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Zain KSA’s digital authentication services will comply with both local and international legal regulations and security standards, with data securely stored on a cloud-based platform. This license acquisition was announced during the 19th United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Riyadh, where global experts convened to discuss the latest developments in Internet governance and called for collective action and collaboration among governments, the private sector, and civil society.
