IFS, a global leader in enterprise cloud and Industrial AI software, has announced the appointment of Hannes Liebe as the new President for Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East, and Africa (APJMEA). Liebe will be responsible for driving growth across these regions, expanding IFS’s footprint, and reinforcing strategic partnerships.
Liebe joined IFS in 2024 as the Interim Managing Director for DACH and Chief Operating Officer for North and Central Europe. He brings extensive leadership experience, having previously held senior roles at Finastra and SAP. In his new role, Liebe will focus on accelerating IFS’s business expansion and strengthening the company’s growth through both direct and indirect channels.
The APJMEA region is crucial for IFS, housing leading enterprises across the company’s strategic industries. IFS’s offerings in Enterprise Asset Management, Field Services Management, Manufacturing Cloud ERP, and Industrial AI are set to drive significant growth in the coming years. Liebe will also focus on IFS’s investments in high-potential markets such as Saudi Arabia and Japan, expanding IFS’s global network and attracting new partners.
Simon Niesler, Chief Revenue Officer at IFS, commented, “Hannes has already proven his leadership skills at IFS, and I know he will leverage his experience to drive greater growth in the APJMEA region. He will be instrumental in strengthening our presence and delivering value to customers, especially where Industrial AI plays a pivotal role in business transformation.”
“I’m excited to collaborate with our regional teams, partners, and customers as I take on this new role,” said Hannes Liebe, President APJMEA, IFS. “IFS is entering an exciting phase, surpassing €1 billion in ARR, and APJMEA presents new growth opportunities.”
Hannes Liebe succeeds Vincent Carvalho, who will now serve as President of Strategic GTM Initiatives in IFS’s Acquisitions Unit.
