NPRA Services Now Available on MyGov App to Enhance Access for Citizens and Residents

The Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has announced that its services are now accessible through the unified MyGov app, following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the launch by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT).

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs, highlighted that the integration of services into MyGov marks a significant step in improving access to government services for citizens and residents. Initially, the app offers services such as passport and residency display services.

In collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), additional NPRA e-services will be added to MyGov in future phases, further enhancing accessibility and user experience.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman noted that MyGov serves as a unified platform, providing access to various services, including displaying official government documents like identity cards, passports, and birth certificates, along with government notifications and other essential services.

The MyGov app, a cutting-edge digital initiative, ensures secure and unified access to multiple government services. Integrated with the upgraded eKey 2.0 system, it offers a seamless and secure digital experience for all users. In its initial phase, MyGov provides 41 government services from nine entities, streamlining service access for citizens and residents.

Citizens and residents can easily download the MyGov app from the eGovernment App Store at bahrain.bh/apps. For further inquiries, they can contact the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001, or submit suggestions and feedback via the National Suggestions and Complaints System, “Tawasul,” or the “Tawasul” app.
