Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter on a single site, has solidified its position as a regional leader in industrial innovation by becoming the first aluminium smelter in the Middle East to implement the cutting-edge AI-powered analytics platform Seeq. This milestone marks a significant step in Alba’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency, quality control, and asset reliability.
In a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Crucial Solutions and Services (CSS), Seeq will be integrated into Alba’s operations, leveraging advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to revolutionize its processes. The signing ceremony took place yesterday at Alba’s premises, with Alba CEO Ali Al Baqali and CSS CEO and founder Sulaiman Alzuhair in attendance, alongside senior executives from both organizations.
Al Baqali commented on the partnership, saying, “Since our founding in 1971, Alba has been synonymous with scale and quality. Today, we are adding another dimension: intelligent operations.
