In a significant move to enhance Morocco’s innovation ecosystem, Africorp Consortium, an industrial and investment group led by Saad Berrada Sounni, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). The agreement, signed today at the Deeptech Summit 2025, aims to foster joint research, digital transformation, and sustainable industrial development.
The collaboration will primarily focus on artificial intelligence (AI), industrial optimization, and digital process automation, with plans to establish joint research labs and facilitate technology transfers between both entities. Additionally, the partnership will extend to agriculture, where Africorp and UM6P will work together to develop advanced farming solutions. In the mining sector, the partnership will emphasize sustainable extraction methods.
Education plays a central role in this partnership. Africorp and UM6P will collaborate on designing specialized training programs, supporting entrepreneurship, and integrating advanced learning technologies to cultivate Morocco’s future talent, further contributing to the country’s technological advancement.
