The Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) hosted a Business Breakfast event themed ‘Born in Sharjah, Built for the World,’ spotlighting cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Industry experts and in-house innovators from companies including Al Hathboor Bikal (AHB), Nvidia, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and Qamia presented insights into the growing AI ecosystem fostered at SRTI Park.
A key highlight was the AI Factory, an integrated system designed for end-to-end AI lifecycle management that leverages machine learning algorithms to optimize operations and drive AI-centered decision-making. Panelists underscored the critical pillars of building an AI Factory: people, technology, and economy, emphasizing partnerships among data scientists, product managers, and executives. The necessary technology stack encompasses data centers, intelligent compute infrastructure, orchestration platforms, and machine learning operations.
SRTI Park CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi reaffirmed the UAE’s ambition to lead in AI innovation and highlighted the park’s strategy to attract startups and investors across sectors such as healthcare, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, mobility, and transport. The park’s proximity to universities facilitates collaboration and access to high-performance computing (HPC) resources, including rentable GPUs.
Among showcased products was AHB’s Dialog XR, a domain-knowledge-based large language model (LLM) chatbot developed entirely at SRTI Park. CEO Raj Sandhu demonstrated how the conversational AI platform supports multi-disciplinary organizational applications and regional innovation while enabling scalable global solutions.
Attendees toured SRTI Park’s facilities, including the Sharjah Open Innovation Lab (SoiLab), witnessing firsthand the park’s world-class infrastructure. SRTI Park is among the Middle East’s fastest-growing technology hubs, promoting an innovation ecosystem through collaborative efforts between industry, government, and academia, fostering creativity and sustainable development.
