Orange Egypt has officially launched its 5G services across the country, marking a major leap in the nation’s digital transformation. Following comprehensive technical and operational readiness, the rollout begins with key high-traffic zones in all governorates, with plans for phased expansion nationwide. The launch is conducted in partnership with Egypt’s National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and complies with international quality standards.
The introduction of 5G promises dramatically faster upload and download speeds, greater network capacity, and improved connectivity for high-density environments. Orange Egypt’s 5G network is designed to support high-bandwidth applications such as remote work, digital learning, streaming, gaming, and real-time video communication—meeting the rising demand for data-rich services across Egypt.
Granted a 15-year license to operate 5G services in October 2024, Orange Egypt’s deployment comes at a time of surging demand for reliable high-speed internet.
