At MWC Shanghai 2025, Huawei led a high-profile discussion at the Mobile Broadband Forum (MBBF) Top Talk Summit, highlighting how 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and AI are converging to redefine the telecom landscape. Huawei executives, joined by global telecom leaders and AI innovators, emphasized how mobile AI, AI-IoT convergence, and AI-powered networks are unlocking new business models, improving O&M, and enhancing user experiences.
Huawei outlined five key drivers of 5G-A growth: large uplink bandwidth, multimodal services, all-scenario IoT, rich device ecosystems, and monetizable experience-first models. In manufacturing and logistics, 5G-A’s ultra-low latency and real-time AI integration are revolutionizing precision, planning, and operational efficiency. On the consumer side, 5G-A is enabling immersive applications like cloud gaming and multi-view sports streaming.
Li Peng, Huawei’s Corporate SVP, concluded by stressing the need for AI-centric network standards to support wide-area lossless 5G-A networks, marking a pivotal shift toward monetizing quality of experience itself. Huawei’s showcase at MWC 2025 reflected its push to align telecom evolution with AI-led transformation and next-gen infrastructure.
