Morocco Advances Ethical AI Use Through Strategic Partnerships and MOUs

In Rabat, Moroccan ministries, alongside international institutional and academic partners, signed a series of memoranda of understanding to promote the efficient and ethical use of artificial intelligence. A key agreement was inked between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).

Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni and UM6P President Hicham El Habti launched a strategic partnership focused on data centers. This collaboration aims to enhance joint efforts in research, innovation, training, sustainability, and digital sovereignty.

Both the ministry and UM6P are dedicated to building national capacity in sustainable data governance, underscoring Morocco’s commitment to advancing AI responsibly.
