Orange Jordan Launches “Finance Forward” Program to Boost Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs

Orange Jordan, in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), has launched “Finance Forward: Empowering Entrepreneurs through Financial Literacy.” Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of the Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion for MSMEs project, the initiative aims to equip entrepreneurs, startups, and SMEs across Jordan with critical financial knowledge and skills.

Targeting five key governorates—Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Karak, and Aqaba—the program offers specialized training to help participants effectively manage resources and make informed financial decisions. It focuses on building financial management and business development capabilities to support sustainable growth and economic empowerment.

Orange Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation and a knowledge-based economy by providing practical financial tools to entrepreneurs, students, and youth. Ulrich Haas, project manager at GIZ, emphasized that financial literacy is fundamental to sustainable economic growth and job creation.

The initiative complements Orange Jordan’s ongoing support for entrepreneurship through incubators and accelerators that provide training, mentorship, and resources to empower the next generation of business leaders in Jordan.
