Digital Cooperation Organisation Releases Startup Country Guide 2024 Highlighting Oman’s Thriving Ecosystem

MUSCAT — The Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO), a leading international governmental body promoting sustainable digital economies, has published the Startup Country Guide 2024 to assist entrepreneurs navigating Oman’s growing startup ecosystem.

The guide offers detailed insights into Oman’s legal frameworks, tax policies, government incentives, and key sector opportunities. It highlights Oman’s strategic push towards economic diversification and digital transformation under Oman Vision 2040, aiming to shift from oil and gas dependency to a knowledge-based economy.

Notable initiatives include the Oman Future Fund and the National Initiative for Artificial Intelligence (AI), supported by significant budget allocations to foster innovation. The “rising Omani startups” program aims to empower entrepreneurs, facilitate business networking, and identify investment opportunities.
