Telenor Pakistan has won Category (1) at the Telecom Cyber Security Awards 2025, organised by the PTA, for exceptional compliance with the Critical Telecom Data and Infrastructure Security Regulations (CTDISR). The recognition follows PTA’s stringent annual audit of cybersecurity measures safeguarding Pakistan’s national telecom infrastructure.
Receiving one of the highest compliance scores in the industry, the award was presented to CTO Awais Vohra and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Shanul Haq by Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja. Vohra said the consecutive win reflects Telenor’s commitment to embedding security from the design phase, building trust, and protecting against evolving threats.
The achievement cements Telenor Pakistan’s role as an industry leader in cybersecurity readiness, setting benchmarks for resilience and contributing to a secure digital ecosystem in the country.
