Riyadh – CloudSky has entered into a strategic collaboration with Saudi Telecom Company (STC), marking a significant milestone in their partnership and highlighting CloudSky’s advanced technical and commercial capabilities. The alliance sets the stage for the development of innovative digital services powered by STC’s 5G infrastructure.
At the core of the collaboration is CloudSky’s Immersive Cloud Computing (ICC) solution, designed to help STC unlock new revenue streams by enabling high-value digital applications across diverse sectors. ICC technology enhances user engagement, accelerates service innovation, and aligns with STC’s vision of delivering advanced, next-generation digital experiences.
As part of the initiative, CloudSky executives, led by Founder and CEO Crusoe Mao, met with STC leadership at the company’s headquarters to shape the next phase of cooperation. Discussions focused on how advanced cloud computing can deliver immersive and accessible digital solutions, with a spotlight on CloudSky’s Esports PC as a Service (Esports SaaS) platform.
This solution leverages 5G’s high bandwidth and low latency to deliver seamless, hardware-independent gaming by processing graphics entirely in the cloud. Beyond gaming, both companies also explored broader applications of ICC technology in remote education, AI acceleration, autonomous driving, intelligent drones, smart factories, and the metaverse.
Crusoe Mao emphasized the strategic alignment, stating: “The strategic collaboration and our shared vision have established a solid foundation for the journey ahead. We look forward to delivering ICC-powered solutions that contribute to the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
By combining STC’s telecom leadership with CloudSky’s immersive cloud capabilities, the partnership reinforces Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to become a global hub for digital innovation under Vision 2030.
