Orange Jordan Celebrates AI Incubator Graduation, Empowering Startups for the Future

Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Orange Jordan, in partnership with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and the Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF), celebrated the graduation of the 2nd and 3rd cohorts of the Orange AI Incubator. Established under the Orange Digital Center, the incubator—funded by ISSF and in partnership with PSUT—is the first of its kind in Jordan dedicated exclusively to supporting artificial intelligence-driven projects.

The ceremony brought together leading figures including PSUT President Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, Orange Jordan CEO Eng. Philippe Mansour, ISSF CEO Eng. Mohammad Al-Muhtaseb, as well as public and private sector representatives, media, and members of Orange Jordan’s Executive Committee.

The two graduating cohorts featured 14 startups and entrepreneurial ideas spanning agriculture, healthcare, tourism, education, and e-commerce. The program’s mission is to encourage founders to integrate AI into their solutions, creating scalable ventures that enhance market growth and attract both local and international investment.

In her keynote address, Princess Sumaya stressed that artificial intelligence represents a historic transformation, forecasting its contribution to the global economy to surpass $15 trillion by 2030. She noted that with youth making up more than 63% of Jordan’s population, they are the Kingdom’s greatest asset to responsibly harness AI for regional strength and sustainable development. She further emphasized that innovation must be measured by its social and economic impact rather than financial returns alone.

Orange Jordan CEO Eng. Philippe Mansour expressed pride in the achievements of the graduates and reaffirmed Orange Jordan’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs from early-stage ideas to growth-ready businesses. He highlighted the incubator’s role in advancing digital transformation and praised the collaborative efforts of PSUT and ISSF, while extending gratitude to Princess Sumaya for her continued support of innovation in Jordan.

ISSF CEO Eng. Mohammad Al-Muhtaseb underlined Jordan’s human capital advantage in AI, stating that initiatives like the Orange AI Incubator equip entrepreneurs to transform bold concepts into investment-ready solutions. He stressed that by channeling talent into AI-driven innovation, Jordan can overcome geographic limitations and establish itself as a hub for knowledge-based value creation.

The Orange AI Incubator operates over a full year, structured into three key stages: technical skill development, AI-based product building, and practical training combined with investor networking. This comprehensive model gives participants access to mentorship, funding opportunities, and partnerships that enable their ventures to scale and generate real economic and social impact.
