Nepal Telecom Expands 4G and 2G Services to Sarkegad in Humla District

Nepal Telecom (NTC) has launched 4G and 2G services in Sarkegad Rural Municipality-1 of Humla district, bringing advanced telecommunications to residents of Jilagaun, Majhgaon, Ghitagaun, Nauli, Lum, and surrounding areas across wards 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6.

The expansion builds on NTC’s ongoing efforts in Karnali province, where it recently rolled out services in Baraihigaun, Saru Rural Municipality, Deuli, Nimigaun, and Chankheli Rural Municipality. The latest rollout, initiated on Bhadra 27, reflects NTC’s aggressive push to improve connectivity in remote regions.

With the new service, residents can now access high-speed internet, HD voice via VoLTE, and video calling, ensuring stronger communication links with family and friends while supporting digital inclusion in rural communities.

As Nepal’s national telecom operator, NTC reiterated its commitment to prioritizing connectivity in underserved areas, pledging to continue expanding modern telecom services across rural and remote parts of the country.
