inDrive has officially launched its ride-hailing service in Riyadh, marking its entry into a second city in Saudi Arabia. The company, which operates across several Middle Eastern and North African markets including Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria, is known for its distinctive fare negotiation model.
Through the app, riders propose a fare while drivers can accept, reject, or counter the offer, creating a flexible system where both parties agree on the price. inDrive highlighted that its service fees for drivers are two to three times lower than standard industry rates, offering a competitive advantage in the crowded ride-hailing sector.
The expansion aligns with inDrive’s broader regional growth strategy, bringing its unique approach to one of the largest urban markets in the Kingdom.
