QF’s WISE Launches New Edtech Accelerator Cohort to Transform Global Learning

Doha – The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), an initiative of Qatar Foundation, has announced the launch of its latest WISE Edtech Accelerator cohort, welcoming eight pioneering startups tackling systemic challenges in education worldwide. Chosen from over 300 applicants, these ventures are set to drive bold innovation across both Qatar’s education landscape and global markets.

For the first time, the program is divided into two tracks: a global track for impactful Edtech startups scaling worldwide, and a local track focused on ventures ready to grow within Qatar’s dynamic education ecosystem. Since its inception, the Accelerator has offered startups access to world-class mentorship, strategic guidance, and Qatar’s thriving education network.

CEO of WISE, Stavros N. Yiannouka, emphasized that “Edtech is no longer a luxury—it is essential to unlocking opportunity at scale.” He highlighted the cohort’s diverse mix of local and global innovators working at the intersection of creativity, technology, and purpose.

Among the participants is AlGooru (Saudi Arabia), a leading tutoring platform with over 150,000 delivered sessions, alongside iSchool and SkillUp MENA, both focused on building digital skills for K12 learners in the MENA region. Wonderly (Global) empowers teachers to integrate coding and computer science into classrooms, while Nyansapo AI (Africa) provides AI-driven tools to track student progress, already impacting 23,000 learners.

Other ventures include Xertify, reimagining digital credentials; Musa, transforming WhatsApp chats into learning tools across Latin America and Africa; and InvestEd, which provides innovative student financing solutions in the Philippines. Together, these startups showcase a wide-ranging global impact, reinforcing Qatar’s role as a hub for education innovation.
