Islamabad — CMPak, a leading telecom operator in Pakistan, has partnered with Huawei to introduce a Simplified Private Network Solution, designed to fast-track digital transformation across key industries such as mining, logistics, and manufacturing.
At the heart of this initiative is the unified enterprise node (Card-UEN), an integrated private network solution developed for local enterprises facing challenges in infrastructure, adaptability, and cost. The Card-UEN reduces equipment room footprint by 60% and lowers power consumption by 30%, making it ideal for small and medium-sized enterprises with limited resources.
The solution offers streamlined deployment through single-cable connectivity, enabling joint site installations with base stations and improving efficiency by 80% compared to traditional methods. It also supports full 4G/5G convergence and 3GPP unicast trunking, ensuring robust communication for industries in remote areas such as mining and forestry.
With visualized monitoring provided by a local Web LMT, enterprises can manage their networks without requiring advanced IT skills. This lightweight adaptation capability allows conventional industries to modernize operations without heavy infrastructure investments, aligning with Pakistan’s Digital Pakistan 2030 vision.
CMPak and Huawei emphasized that the solution supports Pakistan’s role as a key node in the Digital Corridor of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), helping enterprises embrace intelligent transformation and setting a benchmark for industrial digitalization in South Asia.
“The implementation of Card-UEN will not only revolutionize how industries in Pakistan operate but will also demonstrate how technological innovation can empower entire economies,” the companies said in a joint statement.
