Figure AI Secures $1 Billion in Series C Funding, Valuation Hits $39 Billion

Arcapita Group Holdings, the Bahrain-based global alternative investment firm, and US venture capital firm Parkway Venture Capital announced that their AI portfolio company Figure AI has raised over $1 billion in capital commitments during its Series C financing round, boosting its valuation to $39 billion.

The round was led by Parkway and featured a major strategic investment from Brookfield Asset Management, alongside contributions from global technology leaders including NVIDIA, Salesforce, LG Technology Ventures, Intel Capital, T-Mobile Ventures, and Macquarie Capital.

Figure AI, headquartered in California, is developing autonomous, general-purpose humanoid robots designed for commercial and industrial use. By merging advanced AI with robotics engineering, the company aims to address labour shortages and improve workplace safety.

Brookfield’s partnership with Figure will allow the company access to its vast portfolio of over 100,000 residential units, enabling large-scale pilot deployments and the creation of one of the world’s most diverse humanoid training datasets. The collaboration will also extend to next-generation data centres and AI infrastructure.

Arcapita and Parkway were early backers of Figure AI, participating in its Series A and B rounds. Their sustained support reflects a long-term commitment to advancing frontier technologies and positions regional investors at the forefront of the global AI race. Their wider portfolio also includes xAI, OXOS Medical, and SandboxAQ, companies driving innovation in generative AI, medical imaging, and quantum computing.
