Manama — His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, has issued Edict (62) of 2025, appointing new government representatives to the Board of Directors of the Qatar–Bahrain Causeway Foundation.
The appointments, made on the recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and approved by the Cabinet, designate the following officials as board members for a renewable three-year term:
- Yousef Abdullah Hamood – Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
- Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat – Chief Executive, Urban Planning and Development Authority.
- Hussain Ali Yaqoub – Assistant Undersecretary for Land Transport, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications.
- Ahmed Sami Al Tajer – Assistant Undersecretary for Roads, Ministry of Works.
The edict stipulates that the relevant ministers shall implement its provisions, which take effect immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
