Saudi’s Nuxera AI Raises $2.5M to Advance Arabic-First Healthcare AI Solutions

Riyadh, October 8, 2025 — Nuxera AI, a Saudi-based health-tech startup, has raised USD 2.5 million in funding from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health to scale its Arabic-first artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across the healthcare sector. The investment will support Nuxera’s expansion efforts, including growing its engineering and go-to-market teams in Saudi Arabia and accelerating hospital deployments across the region.

Sanabil Venture Studio will provide hands-on operational support and healthcare expertise, enabling Nuxera to deepen its clinical collaborations and enhance AI models tailored to Arabic-speaking medical environments.

Revolutionizing Clinical Workflows in Arabic

Founded by Amin El Hemaily (CEO), Asad Khan (CTO), and Nada Hassan (CCO), Nuxera AI develops natural language processing (NLP) solutions built specifically for the nuances of the Arabic language. Its mission is to transform clinical documentation, analytics, and decision-making for healthcare systems in the Middle East.

The company’s flagship platform, SERA, captures doctor–patient conversations across 28 Arabic dialects and automatically generates structured clinical notes coded in global medical standards, including SNOMED, ACHI, SBS, and ICD-10. This innovation reduces documentation time by over 70%, freeing up clinicians to focus more on patient care.

Data Intelligence in Plain Arabic

Complementing SERA, Nuxera’s “Talk to Your Data” engine allows hospital administrators and decision-makers to query complex clinical, operational, and financial data in natural Arabic, receiving instant insights through conversational AI. This feature helps leaders make faster, evidence-based decisions while breaking down language and data-access barriers across hospital systems.

Building a Smarter, Arabic-Enabled Health Future

“Nuxera’s AI is designed to understand Arabic as spoken by real doctors, code notes the way payers require, and surface insights the way leaders think,” said CEO Amin El Hemaily, highlighting the startup’s deep localization and clinical alignment.

With this funding round, Nuxera AI aims to position itself as the region’s leading Arabic-language AI healthcare platform, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of digital transformation and healthcare innovation.
