Beyon has officially launched “Umniah by Beyon” in Jordan, marking a major step in its strategy to unify its telecommunications brands under a single identity and reinforce its position as a diversified global technology group.
The high-profile launch event in Amman was attended by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Beyon Group, alongside members of the royal family, ministers, officials, and diplomats. The ceremony celebrated 20 years of Beyon’s successful investments in Jordan and highlighted its ongoing commitment to regional growth and innovation.
Shaikh Abdulla described the rebranding as a key milestone in Beyon’s journey toward becoming a unified, innovation-driven group. He announced strategic investments worth approximately JOD 300 million over the next five years through Umniah to advance Jordan’s telecommunications infrastructure and accelerate its digital transformation.
He reaffirmed Beyon’s commitment to sustainable growth, regional collaboration, and technological innovation, emphasizing the group’s evolution as a Bahrain-rooted global leader in digital and ICT services.
Andrew Kvalseth, CEO of Beyon Group, added that the unified corporate identity enhances operational efficiency and consistency across subsidiaries, driving long-term value creation and capital efficiency aligned with the group’s strategic objectives.
Under the Umniah by Beyon brand, the company plans to roll out several strategic projects — including the development of an advanced data centre, expansion of 5G networks, introduction of Wi-Fi 7 technology, and the extension of fibre networks across Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, and Wadi Araba. These initiatives are expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Jordan’s digital transformation and strengthening its national ICT infrastructure.
