Bahrain-based technology powerhouse Beyon Group has announced two major developments this week — a landmark cybersecurity partnership and a significant investment plan in Jordan — underscoring its continued expansion as a global digital innovator.
Beyon Cyber, the cybersecurity arm of the group, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Haven Cyber Technologies, a global cybersecurity services provider. The collaboration will see Haven integrate Orryx AI, Beyon Cyber’s pioneering agentic AI solution for Security Operations Centres (SOCs), into its global operations. The partnership aims to enhance threat detection and response for Haven’s clients while driving Beyon Cyber’s international growth.
Orryx AI is touted as the region’s first fully autonomous SOC platform. Unlike conventional systems that flood analysts with alerts, Orryx AI autonomously investigates, prioritises, and mitigates threats in real time. Through adaptive learning and intelligent noise reduction, it delivers actionable insights and enables faster, more efficient threat management — allowing human analysts to focus on strategic security decisions.
In parallel, Beyon announced the launch of “Umniah by Beyon” in Jordan, marking the integration of its telecom brands under a unified global identity. The move aligns with Beyon’s strategy to consolidate its technological footprint across 17 markets on three continents.
As part of this expansion, Beyon will invest around JOD 300 million (US$423 million) in Jordan over the next five years. Planned initiatives include establishing a cutting-edge data centre, expanding 5G infrastructure, rolling out Wi-Fi 7 technology, and extending fibre networks across Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, and Wadi Araba — reinforcing Beyon’s role in accelerating digital transformation in the region.
