InfraX and Huawei Forge Strategic Alliance to Modernize Dubai’s Utility Networks and Accelerate UAE’s Sustainable Digital Growth

DUBAI – InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA (the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei to modernize Dubai’s utility networks and advance the UAE’s sustainable digital transformation.

The agreement was signed by Rashid Alahmedi, Chief Operating Officer of InfraX, and Alex Zhang, Managing Director of Huawei UAE Enterprise Business Group. The partnership will focus on mission-critical network development, grid modernization, and AI-driven automation, directly contributing to the UAE’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and national digital vision.

Under the MoU, both companies will collaborate on building ultra-reliable, secure, and low-latency communication systems across DEWA’s utility infrastructure. The alliance aims to leverage Huawei’s global expertise in 5G, AI, and intelligent network solutions alongside InfraX’s IoT network capabilities to transform energy distribution and enable real-time operational efficiency.
